How is coconut oil helpful for making soaps?
Coconut oil is widely used in almost every cosmetic and FMCG product, so how are the soaps left behind. Ingredients that you require to make coconut oil soap are:

  • Sodium hydroxide: 201g
  • Distilled water: 365.5g
  • Olive oil: 595g
  • Coconut oil: 435.6g
  • Palm oil: 397g
  • Coconut oil: 170g
  • Coconut fragrance oil: 7 teaspoons

Prepare the soap in the same manner as other normal soaps are prepared but for this soap, before the trace you need to add 35ml of lavender oil. The coconut oil soap is best suited for the dry skin and when used it leaves fragrance with tropical scent of coconut. The coconut oil is the essential and most effective oil used in the soap making process.  The soaps made from pure coconut oil are much stronger as it is made by combining palm oil and olive oil. The oil is mostly used in soap making as it is rich in medium chain fatty acids. They help the individual immune against various bacteria and other microbes causing diseases. There are two main ways through which one can make coconut oil soap:

First one is use the coconut oil as the base oil. The second way is to replace the water with coconut milk while adding it to the lye solution.
