What are the differences between coconut and olive oil?
Earlier people did not pay much attention to the difference between the different oils but now everyone has become so health conscious that they give importance to different oils, its use, its benefits and the effect that it shall have on the health of every individual. The most popular oils are the coconut oil and the olive oil. There are many arguments over the comparison of the two oils due to their importance and benefits. Both the oils have many characteristics that set them apart from each other. The coconut oil comes out easily without much processing where as the oil from the olive seed needs to be extracted after some processing.
Olive oil:
The olive oil is made up of mixture of many fat types. Olive oil is composed of fats that are mono saturated, poly saturated and saturated. The olive oil has a ratio of saturated and unsaturated fats that helps in lowering the cholesterol level. It is important to remember that the Olive oil has high anti oxidants that destroy and have harmful effects on the cells. The olive oil should not be used to fry food at high temperatures as it has low burning point. But even then it is considered healthy for the heart of the individual.
Coconut oil:
There are not much benefits of the coconut oil. It does not have much benefit on the heart and if consumed in excess it might increase your cholesterol level. The oil is stable at high temperature and is mostly used for cooking.
