  • Excess consumption of coconut oil could cause harm: Just because everyone says that taking coconut oil is good for health, it does not mean that you should take it with anything or in a huge quantity. It has been well said that excess of anything is bad. Overdosing on coconut oil could cause diarrhea. So have a small amount of coconut oil in the beginning and then increase your dosage with the passing of time.
  • Bad taste or flavor: Many people love the aroma of coconut oil but some people do not like its fragrance. So due to this they cannot take coconut oil as sometimes it may cause nausea.
  • Bad skin go worse: Many people use coconut oil for removing ugly dark spots from their skin. But some have bad experiences by using coconut oil on their skin. The reason is that coconut oil contains strong anti-toxin properties that may cause your skin to become worse than before.
  • High amount of saturated fat: One of the major problems with coconut oil is that it contains high amount of saturated fat – nearly 91.5%. Our body needs a balanced amount of nutrients and fats. If there is a high intake of any fats, it will cause problems in the human body. As high intake of saturated fats creates high cholesterol, it will results in a heart attack.
  • Not approved by FDA: Despite having various advantages, coconut oil is not yet approved by FDA. Due to this reason many people are not using coconut oil as they consider it as bad oil.
